Bamboo is the first online brokerage service that gives Africans and their asset managers real-time access to the US and global capital markets. We believe Africans who want to grow their personal wealth in the long-term and take part in the global markets should have an investment platform they can trust to do so.

We are on a mission to even the playing field for access to global investment opportunities for everyday Africans.  With as little as $20, users can fund their Bamboo wallets through various local currency and Dollar channels, including payment cards and bank transfers almost instantly, and start buying and selling stocks or ETFs.

Users are also able to learn from the rich educational content which the app and our investor community offer and receive regular market updates. The app is accessible to anyone with a government verified ID and only takes a few minutes to set up. Bamboo uses bank-level security including Two-Factor (2FA) Authentication, and each Bamboo account is insured up to $500,000.

We launched Bamboo in Nigeria in November 2019 and have over 5000 Nigerian investors using the platform and are excited to work closely with Chandaria Capital to roll out Bamboo in Kenya and across East Africa.
