Ilara Health makes common diagnostics accessible and affordable to the 500 million people in Africa who today struggle to access even basic blood tests. 70% of medical decisions require diagnostics such as blood tests but there are more than 500 million people in Africa who struggle to access basic diagnostics. But thanks to advances in robotics and AI, there are companies creating new diagnostics that are smaller, more affordable, and can work directly in the doctor’s office providing results in minutes.

Ilara Health partners with these companies and integrates their devices into its technology platform. It then distributes this bundle to peri-urban and rural doctors (where 70% of patients live) with financing. Ilara Health then charges doctors on a per-test basis and continues to help the doctor grow their revenue by providing new diagnostics and services.
